Can't Make The Kind of Money You Want?
Here's How To Finally Stop The Struggle and Make The Money You Deserve ...
Struggling to achieve financial success, but not getting anywhere?
I feel your pain. I've been there.
You've been searching for the answer to increasing your income, you've been working yourself to the bone...but you're still not where you want to be and questions keep popping into your mind....
"Why can't I succeed? Why can't I find happiness? Why does it seem like no matter how hard I try I never get anywhere?"
Let me tell you a story that will answer these questions for you.
The other day I was reading a book that my great grandfather wrote.
It had to do with religion.
I was skimming through the table of contents and noticed it said a few things about wealth being immoral.
What the?!?!
Unfortunately, religion often teaches that making money is sinful. It's a shame.
This is why so many people who want to be financially successful struggle, even though they work hard.
Let me ask you a question.
Do you really want to be rich?
You may think that is a silly question. But what you may not know is that you part of you might not actually want to make money.
The real reason why most people are not financially successful is not because they don't know how to make money, and it isn't necessarily because they are lazy either.
The problem is their mindset. They have blocks that are keeping them from being able to achieve financial success.
Do you have limiting beliefs about money? You may be surprised by the answer.
Do any of the following statements ring a bell?
-
It takes money to make money.
-
Money is the root of all evil. (by the way, this is actually one of the most misquoted phrases of all time. The actual quote is “the love of money is the root of all evil”)
-

-
My friends and family will reject me if I’m successful.
-
If I’m rich, someone else will have to be poor.
-
Being poor is spiritual.
-
It takes too much work to make a lot of money.
-
In order to be wealthy I'll have to work all the time and sacrifice my health, family and hobbies.
-
Financial success isn't worth the price.
-
Rich people got that way by lying, cheating and stealing.
-
Rich people are selfish, shallow and greedy.
-
Rich people are obsessed with money
-
I’m a failure.
-
I don't deserve to be rich.
-

-

-

-
Money is the root of all evil
-
Filthy rich
-
Disgustingly wealthy / insanely wealthy
-
I may not have money, but at least I'm honest
Have you ever heard any of these?
Do you believe they are true?
Be honest.
If you belief any of these statements, then you have limiting beliefs that are preventing you from achieving financial success. Until you clear these beliefs, you will always be where you are now - because that is the level of financial success you are comfortable with. Without changing your thinking, your bank balance will not change either.
Why do you have these beliefs?
You have certain beliefs about life, money, health, relationships, religion and more because of what you have been exposed to and taught throughout your life.
From the day you were born your subconscious mind has been soaking up all of the information from all around you.
Successful people do not end up with successful children simply because they have the means to help them reach their goals. It is because they have passed their healthy attitudes about goals and making money along to them. They celebrate every success their child has, and encourage them to reach their goals.
However, if your parents were not financially successful, you may have been taught that it's fine to talk about your weaknesses and complain about what's going wrong in your life, but not to "brag" about your successes. Perhaps you were told such things as “nobody likes a bragger”.
Your mindset about money determines how much of it you will have. A person with a poverty mindset will stay in poverty until they change their money mindset.
Research has shown that even when poor people win the lottery, they end up back in poverty in a few years. Donald Trump went broke, and then bounced back and became even wealthier than he was before. Why? Because he has a billionaire's mindset.
150 years ago or so, Karl Marx was positive that the working class, as a whole, would rise up and overcome oppression if only they had an opportunity.
But what he didn’t think about what the poverty and scarcity driven mindset of most people. Even if you give a middle class or poor person a million dollar opportunity, they will find a way to keep it from happening.
They have a different perception of what is going on around them. Their self image tells them they belong where they are.
They don’t understand “reality” from a world class performers point of view.
As a result, they self sabatoge.
Are you self sabatoging?
Your mind has been continually influenced from the time we were born to believe certain things. Not just about money, but also about relationships, religion, diet and so on. Throughout your life you have been taught to think a certain way about money.
Unfortunately, your beliefs and attitudes do not always serve you well, and can be hindering your success.
The biggest influences in your life are:
-
Parents/family
-
Teachers
-
The Media
-
Religion
You may not have been influenced by all of these, but these are the sources that have the strongest influence on your beliefs.
Your parents may have told you things such as "it takes money to make money". If this were true, there would not be thousands of young teenagers who started out broke and built multi-million dollar companies.
Even though this is a false belief, and part of you realizes this is not true, your subconscious mind still believes it is, and this stops you from being able to succeed.
The media is constantly portraying rich people as evil, greedy and selfish.
Why? Because it gets good ratings. The majority of the population is not financially successful, and they enjoy watching and ready material that portrays successful people in a negative way because it makes them feel better about their failures.
They like to believe being thin, healthy and rich isn't really any better than being fat, broke and sick.
Because of that fact, movies, magazines and books that portay successful people in a bad light are almost always best sellers.
I was at a family get-together the other day and happened to pass through the room where the kids were watching a movie.
During the few minutes while I was in there, I noticed the “bad guy” was wearing an Armani suit, a giant glittery watch, and was standing next to a Ferrari.
At the time, he was lying to the “good guy” about something, and then started to tell the good guy that if he would just go along with this plan he could make lots and lots of money. Of course, the good guy wasn’t interested in any of that!
You may not believe that the pursuit of money is a negative thing. This is just one example of a very common belief people have that holds them back. It's most common because of the fact that religion and the media play such a strong role in most people's lives, and both of them typically teach that wanting money is bad.
There are several different kinds of mental blocks that hinder your ability to achieve financial success though. You might have some of them, but not others.
